PINEVILLE YOUTH CENTER

The Pineville Youth Center operates a Summer Enrichment Program, and an After School Homework/Tutorial Program for youth ages six-fourteen. These programs support academic growth; develop citizenship and character building; promote leadership and responsibility; and foster self-awareness, self-discipline and respect. The center emphasizes the importance of education on a consistent basis in a safe, quiet and productive environment. Students combine fun with learning as they participate in nutritional, recreational and educational activities.

Furthermore, Students can complete their assignments, engage in extra drill and practice, and further develop their social skills. Both independent and group activities afford students the opportunities to receive differentiated instruction, while staff members encourage good study habits, proper time management skills and accepting responsibility for one's actions.
